I am in love with one of my guy friends. No one knows but me. We tell each other everything, and I trust him with my life. He has a girlfriend but still makes sure our friendship never fades. Even though he has a girlfriend, I was there before her, and he acts like i'm more important. Friend wise. But when I dare and try to talk to another guy, or get into a relationship, he freaks out and gets all protective. I just don't understand. Should I tell him, or should I just keep my friendship?

you can definitely tell him, because he should know. you will never know how he feels if you don’t let him know. that being said, respect his girlfriend while you tell him. don’t get flirty or say anything bad about her. just put yourself in her shoes.

PROBLEM Continued: . I know that I want him back, but especially with me feeling like I annoy him, don't want to make a move. Sometimes, once in a while, he randomly texts me to keep me updated on his life, but then he purpously makes the convos go dead(I know him pretty well). first, tell him how you feel. tell him exactly what you told me. apologize and say you were wrong for leaving him. the answer you get back will make or break your future relationship. if he wants this as bad as you do, he will work to fix it too. goodluck!

PROBLEM: What do you do when you stupidly break up with a long distance relationship with a guy you're madly in love with, and know you messed it up. In the beginning, we thought we couldn't date, so stopped being friends, then didn't let it stop us, dated for a long time, and like I said, I stupidly broke up with him over something dumb. I'm pretty sure I annoy him now, and that drives me crazy. I am absolutely sure when we were dating he loved me, but I have no idea if he still does to.

well, I’m going to be very honest with you. girls that go on and on about just wanting a nice guy that will care about her, are full of shit. I would know. she does want that, but she expects it to be a hot muscular guy at the same time. highschool girls are way too vein to date a guy based on personality. go for a girl who deserves you more, that way you don’t put yourself out there and get hurt.

There's this guy that I really like. I told him I liked him and he said that he doesn't want a girlfriend because he got really hurt the last time he was in a relationship. I said that he was right, we should just be friends. But I can't get over him. We don't talk much but when we do we flirt and there is so much chemistry. you did the one thing you can do, you told him. he knows now so it’s all on him. keep showing him that you will always be there. he’s probably just scared. relationships are a big deal, and he probably doesn’t want to just jump in to it. don’t look desperate though!

I like my boyfriend a lot. He gives me butterflies, but no I don't love him. I've already loved, I don't see how I can ever feel that way about anyone again. I know what you mean. but you might not be in the relationship you are looking for. I was completely in love with my ex, and every guy after him only felt like a crush comparatively. but then, I found my next boyfriend, and it was an entirely different kind of love. I don’t think that it feels exactly the same each time you fall in love. that’s why people don’t get tired of it. it’s exhilarating.

I'm completely oblivious to most things. I never notice when others are flirting with me, and I only get that someone is interested in me when someone else blatantly states that they are. Part of this is because I don't want to jump to conclusions and get my heartbroken, I think. Also, I have a tendency to act disinterested when I have a crush on someone, just because I don't want to be that kind of girl that is extremely annoying, but I don't have the confidence to do otherwise. Help?

Well, to be honest, I had a boyfriend but still had intense feelings for my ex. It’s normal in that case. The difference is I didn’t act on them. That is never okay. If you have a boyfriend and you find yourself getting interested in new guys, then no, it’s not normal. When you have a real relationship that’s worth your time you will know. You will think about that person every minute of everyday. They will give you butterflies even when you just hear their name. They are that one person who can make your worst days turn into your best by simply smiling at you. You won’t consider anyone else. Don’t let that person go.

Unfortunately, I have no real answer for this. Nobody does. All i can recommend is that you cherish every moment with your girlfriend. People aren’t just forgotten, she was a big part of your life. You shouldn’t fear being a bitch simply because you want a real relationship. That behavior isn’t want any girl wants or deserves. Talk to him about it, and honestly if he doesn’t change, don’t waste your time anymore. Relationships take two.
